Chronic Debilitating Headaches

THE PROBLEM WITH MIGRAINES

If you had horrible pain in your head, wouldn’t you do anything to get rid of it? Of course you would, but what if the things you did made the pain worse. Often times, this is just the case with patients with chronic headaches. The very same temporarily relief for the headaches cause a vengeful return of the pain. This was just the case with a recent patient. He had terrible headaches that seemed to be getting worse. Every time he took over the counter medicines, his pain would lessen, but with each dose the pain would return worse than before. The pain would rob him of sleep, which would rob him of his daily energy levels. Over and over, he would repeat this cycle with ever increasing headaches. You may not be trained to read an AcuGraph reading. If you’ve been in the clinic long enough, you’ve been trained to see colors mean something. With his AcuGraph score you can see the GB and TB were particularly high. I showed him a picture of the GB channel. He was amazed. Each point was exactly where he had pain. Finally he had a reason for his headaches, and he had a path away from the headaches.
