Breaking the Cycle

I've truly enjoyed all the patients that I've treated this past week. As more and more patients are discharged with clean bills of health, its leaving more room for the great referrals I've been getting. Please keep them coming. One major theme that emerged this weekend was breaking the cycles of poor health. We've all been on that roller coaster that we just wanted to get off of. Often times, from my perspective, I've seen chronic illness in a similar fashion. With patients, I sit down and try to map out a general idea of what factors have been perpetuating their condition. The single most important aspect of Oriental Medicine is wisdom. The ability to sit with an individual, look at the big picture for them and come up with some really interesting and often creative solutions to take care of the multi-factoral causes of chronic conditions. I'm grateful for those I've helped and really excited for the new cases to come! This level of medicine requires a high degree of creativity, wisdom, and pragmatism!
